In search for a meaningful application for rotational plastic moulding in furniture design. The combination of an aluminum profile and moulded plastic parts emphasizes the industrial character. Justice to materials, function and manufacturability were key factors throughout the design process. The result is a lightweight, rugged, inexpensive to produce table base intended for the common household setting.
